Scuba
- BEGINNING SCUBA: Classes will meet for 3 weeks indoors and then hold open water dives June– October 2025. Must complete both Phase 1 & 2.
- PHASE 1: CONFINED CLASS/POOL TRAINING: Diving offers endless opportunities for exploration, discovery, education and new experiences. You can go as far as your passion and enthusiasm take you. Your learning experiences will come alive with personalized instruction that puts your skills to use in reality-based training scenarios. Estimated Time: 9 hours of classroom and 9 hours of pool. We meet for 3 weeks; 2 nights per week or for 3 Saturdays. We Supply: Regulator set, Buoyancy Compensator, Tank, Weight Belt, and Weights. You Supply: Mask, Snorkel, Fins, Wetsuit Boots (5mm or 7mm), (MUST BE SCUBA QUALITY) Bathing Suit, and Towel.
- PHASE 2: OPEN WATER CHECKOUTS: After completion of your beginning scuba course, you have to complete a minimum of 4 training dives at one of our local lakes or quarries. Here you will perform all your newly acquired skills under the supervision of an instructor. After demonstrating your proficiency, you will be a Certified Open Water Diver. This test is a 2-day event. You MUST be present for both days. Open Water Test: $140 & Equipment Rental $75. Estimated Time: 4– 5 hours per day (based on a group of 6) We Supply: Rental of Regulator Set, Buoyancy Compensator, Wetsuit, Hood, Gloves, Tanks, Air Fills, and Weight system. You Supply: Mask, Snorkel, Fins, Wetsuit boots, Bathing suit, and Towel.
